Job Description

The National Sales Head – RRB is responsible for spearheading the organization’s sales strategy and business growth across Regional Rural Banks nationwide. The role focuses on building strong senior-level relationships with RRBs, driving revenue through effective sales execution, leading national and regional sales teams, and ensuring scalable, compliant, and sustainable partnerships aligned with organizational objectives

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the national sales strategy for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) to achieve revenue, volume, and market penetration targets for LI business.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with RRB Head Offices, Chairmen, GMs, and senior leadership across regions.
• Guide and manage regional / zonal sales teams, providing direction on targets, execution, and performance management.
• Drive branch-level sales activation, distributor productivity, and frontline engagement programs across RRB networks.
• Identify new business opportunities within the RRB ecosystem, including new geographies, products, or cross-sell initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, operations, credit, compliance, and IT teams to ensure smooth rollout and scaling of offerings in RRBs.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as disbursements, activation ratios, yield, productivity, and attrition, and take corrective actions when required.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and policy changes impacting RRBs, and proactively adjust strategy.
• Present business reviews, MIS, and forecasts to senior management and leadership forums.
• Act as a brand ambassador with RRBs, strengthening long-term partnerships and institutional trust.
